What is the minimum age requirement for renting a vehicle?

We follow the minimum age requirements stipulated by the US laws for carrying out any commercial transactions within the country.

What are the basic requirements for renting a vehicle?

You must possess a valid US drivers’ license. If you are a visitor to the US you must have an international driving permit.

Will I get compensated for the extra gas in the vehicle paid by me?

Vehicles are rented out with a full fuel tank which is included in the basic rent cost. You will not be given any discount for fuel not used by you. Additional fuel needed, will have to be paid by you. No refund will be given for fuel still balance in the vehicle at the time of return even if it was paid for by you.

What will be the total rent cost of the vehicle come to?

Rent cost of a vehicle depends on several factors like the type of car, make, luxury features required, miles driven and number of days used etc. Once you select your vehicle the minimum standard cost of renting that vehicle will be known to you. Your usage of the vehicle will further determine your final rental cost.

Will there be any background check on my driving history?

At carrentalssandiego.com.com we believe if you are permitted to carry a valid driver’s license and meet the minimum age requirements, you are permitted to rent a car from us. There will be no verification of driving record once the basic formalities are cleared.

Can the vehicle by driven by another person?

As long as the driver holds a valid driver’s license and is authorized to drive in United States, he/she can drive the vehicle. But please note that since the vehicle is officially rented to you, you will be officially responsible for the vehicle for the duration of the period that it is rented to you.

Does the rent include insurance cost?

The rent does not entitle you to any insurance benefit.

Do I have to return the car to your office?

No. At carrentalssandiego.com.com, you have the flexibility of renting it one place and returning it at another. Rental car bays are found at most popular locations including airports and you can simply drop off the vehicles after use at any one of these places.

Will I get a still lower rate if I return the vehicle within a day?

Our rates are the standard cost of renting a vehicle for a period of 24 hours. Early return of vehicles may not entitle you to a discount on your rate.

I just need someone to drop me at the airport or pick me up from a pre-defined location. Can you help me here?

Can I have my vehicle delivered to me?

Yes, we deliver vehicles to you at no extra cost. Give us your requirements by filling in the booking form. After the completion of the transaction, we will deliver your vehicle to you. We require a minimum of one hour to ensure that you get the vehicle of your choice delivered to your door step. 

Will kind of additional expenses will I incur on return of vehicle?

All surcharges and fees demanded for renting vehicles will be included in the rent cost. We will charge you for any damage found on the vehicle at the time of return. You are responsible to ensure that all cars rented from us are also returned in the same impeccable conditions as it was when taking possession of it.

Do you accept cash?

You can pay in any terms convenient to you. This includes cash, credit cards, debit cards or online transfer of funds.

What is the billing cycle for a corporate account?

We will generate invoices every month.
